Job description

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate all cross-functional activities of the team (projects / planning / costs / risks & opps) per commodity.
  • Set up and manage the governance and the calendar of the team's activities (roadmap review, internal governance, SteerCo interaction).
  • Support the deployment of the team dashboard and drive the pace of activities.
  • Occasionally implement governance for new projects, including meeting structure, project tracking systems, KPIs and action tracking.
  • Participate in the development of the roadmap and the annual plan for the evolution of purchasing strategies.
  • Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tenders and contract negotiations to obtain the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Monitor contracts (innovation, development, production and support phases) with suppliers and internal partners to ensure full application of contract terms and that deliverables meet expected performance (logistics, support, quality, cost).
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and ongoing projects to maximize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and risk.
  • Lead one or more Sub-MFT and participate in MFTs/MDTs (multi-functional/multi-divisional teams) throughout tendering, negotiation and contract execution phases.
  • Contribute to the implementation of digital solutions.
  • Comply with Airbus procedural documents.

Requirements / Ideal candidate

  • Degree equivalent to or higher than a master's degree in management, project management, purchasing or a related field.
  • Experience in supply/procurement, preferably more than 8 years in the aerospace field (Procurement & SC - Buyer Aerospace - Medium / Senior).
  • Effective contractual knowledge and international negotiation experience, with proven commercial and contractual experience and legal knowledge.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in supplier relationship management and procurement, or equivalent experience managing external stakeholders.
  • Advanced level of English and working knowledge of French required; languages: English and French (fluent).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management: listening, negotiation.
  • Conflict management, communication and intercultural skills in an international context.
  • Ability to be flexible, pragmatic and analytical, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently within international teams in a demanding and constantly changing environment.

Benefits and conditions

  • Group insurance: eligibility from day one in position, subject to required eligibility conditions.
  • Pension plan: eligibility after four weeks of continuous service.
  • Indicative salary: 95K (annual).
  • Work schedule: 40 hours/week.
