The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Method Agent to join our Manufacturing Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will produce visual work instructions and translate engineering requirements into optimal assembly sequences for the A220 aircraft, working with the engineering team to introduce configuration changes into assembly documentation.

Your role

Prepare visual instructions and work sequences for electrical and avionic system installation on aircraft using software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your working environment

The A220 programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area. The region offers a high quality of life, balancing career opportunities and outdoor activities while being close to the vibrant city of Montreal.

  • Individual development: extensive upskilling opportunities with access to over 10,000 e-learning courses, certifications, accelerated development programmes, and national/international mobility.

Your challenges

  • Define and write instructions and work sequences, respecting engineering requirements and industry specifications, for electrical (and as an asset avionic) system installation on aircraft using SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and analyse potential solutions by assessing costs, impacts and risks of production changes.
  • Participate in planning and implementing production changes and introduction of new configurations.
  • Support daily production activities.
  • Participate in defining tooling requirements, assembly and implementation of production equipment according to optimal methodology, considering health and safety.

Your boarding pass (profile)

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in configuration management for electrical and avionics systems, as a Methods Agent in aerospace or in a manufacturing environment.
  • DEC in aeronautics (ideally avionic specialty) or an electrical engineering degree or related education.
  • Good understanding of ERP principles and extended knowledge of SAP Methods transactions; 3D visual software such as 3DVia is an asset.
  • Good command of French and English, spoken and written.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to meet commitments.
  • Resourceful, autonomous, motivated with good problem-solving skills.
  • Good judgement and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.

This job requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, which are the foundation of the Company's success and sustainable growth.
