We offer you the opportunity to work at Airbus Atlantique Canada St‑Laurent, a growing global player, #2 in aerostructures, #1 in pilot seats and in the Top 3 for premium passenger seats.
Within a team of about fifteen people, you will liaise with Production to provide technical support to operators and manage an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs at Airbus Atlantique Canada in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the workstations to which you are assigned and to anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must comply with health and safety standards.

Main responsibilities
- Interpret, check and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department.
- Define assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
- Prepare and present projects for validation with the company's various functions.
- Lead project follow-up meetings and keep tracking files up to date.
- Maintain performance indicators up to date.
- Manage activities across project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, procurement, implementation and ramp-up to production.
- Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality and production teams.
- Manage change requests occurring during project execution.
Required skills
- College or university diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, or in aeronautical manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in methods engineering.
- Experience in the aerospace sector and in supporting medium-series production.
- Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use and interpret aerospace standards.
- Ability to create or interpret manufacturing routings.
- Mastery of tolerance principles and dimension chains.
- Knowledge of basic parts is an asset.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5.
- Proactive mindset, team spirit, responsiveness and rigor.
- French & English: spoken & written.

- Very good awareness of technical limits.
- Recognized capacity to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Good communication skills, able to adapt to the interlocutor and to argue technical aspects courteously and pedagogically.

- Ability to respond calmly and reactively while delivering quality work.
