Our Airbus Atlantic site in Mirabel is looking for a Quality Analyst in Operations.

Job summary

The Quality Analyst in Operations must ensure the analysis of non-conformities in the plant—human, technical and supplier-related—to provide clear visibility and enable operations to take targeted actions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the implementation of quality reviews with operations.
  • Organize inspections of the A220 and G7500 production lines, develop and update a robust control plan, and liaise with operations quality teams to implement it.
  • Monitor progress of corrective actions on non-conforming products via non-quality convergence plans.
  • Ensure visibility of ongoing actions (PowerPoint presentations).
  • Ensure effective communication with the customer for management of exported non-quality issues.
  • Analyze and handle customer complaints related to assembly anomalies identified by the customer on their site.
  • Investigate responsibility for reported anomalies.
  • Support the Airbus/Bombardier customer during technical analyses related to non-quality or improvement activities.
  • Lead convergence plans: customer returns, deviations, DL, etc.
  • Participate in implementing quality approaches such as the Quality Box, at-line workshops, and AQP/AQL methodologies.
  • Comply with quality management system processes.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to achieve objectives.

Candidate profile / Requirements

  • Hold a technical DEC (diploma) or have relevant experience in aerospace quality.
  • Have 5 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Be familiar with quality problem-solving methods.
  • Be familiar with manufacturing methods of the parts used in aerostructure assembly.
  • Know the assembly methods used in the aerospace sector.
  • Be bilingual in French and English.
  • Have project management skills.
  • Be proficient in the MS Office suite.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset.
  • Be familiar with the EN/AS9100 standard.
  • Strong problem-solving ability (5Why, PPSMax, 8D...).
