Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Working from instructions provided as assembly manuals and visual aids.
- Using templates and positioning PVA components, engineering drawings or any other material provided by the methods department.
- Drilling within prescribed tolerances, applying sealants and installing required fasteners in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Meeting the standard timeframes set by the methods department and complying with the quality reference document.
- Adhering to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Ensuring production standards and rates are met.
- Performing any other related duties according to experience and qualifications.
Requirements
As an ideal candidate, you have:
- A DEP (vocational diploma) in aerospace structural assembly;
- or an AEC (college certificate) in aircraft maintenance with experience as an assembler in the aeronautics field;
- or an accelerated (fast-track) training in aircraft structures;
- or a minimum of 3 years' experience as an assembler in the aeronautics sector or a related field within the last 5 years.
AND:
- You demonstrate autonomy, initiative and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have a strong command of the French language (spoken and written).
