Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330 and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. The site uses advanced equipment for machining, polishing and special processes such as heat treatment, shot blasting and surface treatments.
Your mission will be to ensure the physical flows (incoming and outgoing) from receipt of components or raw materials to shipment of finished products to internal and external customers. Support the reliability and security of stocks from reception to inspection, storage, packing and shipment.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Manage logistics
- Coordinate and exchange information between internal and external stakeholders.
- Propose flexibility measures to absorb occasional overloads and level workload.
- Propose and implement means and tools necessary for smooth operations.
- Ensure daily operational follow-up (costs, quality, deadlines, HSE) as well as tracking of transport and customs.
- Organize stock management according to storage rules and 5S standards.
- Act as GDA (Document Management and Archiving) correspondent for the receiving-shipping department.
- Ensure system inventories are consistent with physical reality.
- Manage the aeronautical parts warehouse.
- Maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Provide operational support
- Carry out daily tasks related to release of production orders.
- Perform daily tasks related to subcontractor management.
- Handle matrix coupon management tasks, report and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform inventories according to rules and ensure system data matches physical reality.
Manage sales-related transport
- Handle daily local and international shipments.
- Process transport invoices, report and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and communicate monthly variance analyses according to the ORM schedule.
Handle non-conformities and logistics disputes
- Control billing for services and follow up on disputes.
- Report client priority conflicts and communicate priorities.
- Resolve transport disputes and manage incidents.
- Conduct QRQC / RPO activities.

About you
Requirements:
- DEC in production management, industrial engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years' experience in continuous improvement
- Knowledge and understanding of MRP II principles
- APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management (an asset)
- Excellent oral and written communication in French and English to interact with other Safran sites and partners

Candidate criteria:
- Minimum education: BAC+2 (Associate degree)
- Minimum experience: More than 3 years
- Languages: French (fluent), English (fluent)
