We are seeking a highly driven Logistics Manager to lead material flow and customer engagement at our aircraft engine assembly site. Reporting to the Engine Center Network Logistics Manager, this role is critical in ensuring the seamless movement of parts and modules from various Forward Stocking Locations (FSLs) into a mixed-model flow assembly line, supporting on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, working closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Procurement, as well as internal customers.
The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, and is exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Act as the primary liaison between the assembly site, internal disciplines, and internal customers.
- Support customer reviews and provide clear visibility into delivery status, risks, and recovery plans.
- Ensure end-to-end material flow from FSLs to the mixed-model assembly line to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
- Monitor and manage logistics performance, including supplier shipments, inventory levels, and transportation efficiency.
- Lead daily coordination meetings to align production, supply chain, and customer requirements.
- Resolve logistical bottlenecks and proactively mitigate risks to on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material planning, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all logistics activities.
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in aerospace or complex assembly environments.
- Strong knowledge of material planning systems (ERP/MRP) and logistics best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple disciplines and with external partners/customers.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and mixed-model assembly environments is a plus.
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
