The Commercial Services team within P&WC Customer Service is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team accountable for delivery performance of spare parts to after-market, in support of our customer commitments.
Reporting to the Director of Spare Parts Services, the successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in aligning cross-functional teams to ensure inbound material flow meets key performance indicators. Acting as a central point of coordination between Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, this individual will champion customer priorities, drive issue resolution, and ensure strong supplier performance. The role also represents the voice of the customer and external stakeholders within the organization.
The position is based at our Longueuil facility, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Develop and empower people by leading, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing team accountable for supplier delivery performance aligned with customer commitments.
- Drive cross-functional alignment by fostering strong collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to achieve shared business objectives.
- Execute with customer focus by translating Customer Service priorities into clear, actionable plans for Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
- Lead with accountability and transparency by proactively identifying, assessing, and communicating risks impacting supply chain and manufacturing performance.
- Deliver results by ensuring timely, end-to-end resolution of customer supply issues and minimizing operational disruptions.
- Ensure disciplined execution through rigorous monitoring and follow-up of recovery plans with internal stakeholders.
- Influence and represent externally by supporting and participating in customer engagements, reinforcing trust and partnership.
- Enable informed decision-making by leading the development and delivery of governance reporting to senior leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement by driving process optimization and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Advance digital transformation by supporting and promoting initiatives that enhance supplier delivery performance and Spare Parts Services capabilities.
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience, in a related field such as Engineering, Business Administration, Aerospace, Operations Management, Finance, International Trade, Supply Chain or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with strong resilience, resourcefulness, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility with key internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy, with the ability to seek alignment and leverage support when navigating new or complex areas.
- Results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and mobilize resources to achieve objectives within defined timelines.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead, align, and drive accountability in support of business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- High level of curiosity with a proactive approach to identifying and creating new opportunities.
- Experience in the aerospace and/or supply chain environment is considered a strong asset.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a very good knowledge of English (documentation and technical terms, write and communicate with customers, suppliers or international teams).
