Job title
Integration, Test and Evaluation Engineer — Land Test Facility
Role overview
The successful candidate will support the Land Test Facility (LTF) project for the River and Bay Class destroyer (DCFR) as a member of the Integration, Test and Evaluation (I, T & E) team, performing activities including:
- Developing or reviewing shipborne or land-based test and trial systems, including commissioning, integration tests, harbour acceptance tests, sea acceptance tests and operational trials and evaluations.
- Carrying out inspections following equipment installation and commissioning.
- Preparing and executing test documentation to verify the operation of integrated systems/software.
- Recording test results in the test management system.
- Filing defect reports and related documentation.
- Reviewing test reports, analyzing collected data and reporting findings to key stakeholders as required.
- Supporting the planning and execution of acceptance activities.
- Supporting preparation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Supporting the development and maintenance of test sequence networks and time-phased test sequence networks.
- Managing implementation of model-based test methodology and test traceability.
- Participating in training activities and building knowledge of complex warfare systems.
What you bring to the role
- A post-secondary degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience (military or civilian).
- Experience in integration and test (I&T).
- Ability to adapt to flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to solve complex problems within a team environment.
- High degree of initiative and independence.
- Ethical, respectful and collaborative approach that contributes positively to a team environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance in a timely manner.
Additional desired skills
- Experience operating the CMS-330 combat management system (asset).
- I&T experience, including understanding of the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
- Familiarity with IBM DOORS (asset).
- Familiarity with CAMEO.
- Good understanding of I&T processes.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum (asset).
- Knowledge of software development and testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Windchill.
- Planning skills.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation.

Salary range
$77,500 - $101,500
Security requirements
This role is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. Required security clearance: NATO Secret.
