Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330 and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machining, polishing and special-process equipment, including heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
You will manufacture landing gear components using high-technology equipment such as lathes, milling machines and multi-axis CNC machining centers.
Specifically, you will be required to:
- verify, prepare and assemble the part
- perform machining operations according to the machining process sheets
- troubleshoot technical issues or, when necessary, propose solutions to methods technicians and CNC programmers
- inspect the part to ensure specifications are met and take appropriate measures if abnormal situations are detected
- organize your work and schedule tasks based on instructions and priorities
- consult technical documents on the computer such as working drawings, operation sheets and procedures, and complete quality assurance documentation when required
- ensure tooling, gauges and equipment are in good condition
- inform technicians about operation conditions (tooling, assembly, documentation, CNC programs, data) and provide improvement suggestions
- support technicians on improvement and development projects
- contribute to continuous improvement of operations and to meeting team objectives regarding safety, quality, costs and on-time deliveries

Night shift from Monday to Friday, 00:10 to 06:40. Note: depending on collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night or weekend).
