Why Join the Team?
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing production and repair plans based on demand forecasts, operational constraints, and available resources. You will work in a dynamic environment where planning relies on probabilities and hypothetical scenarios due to variability in customer demand and maintenance cycles.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Saint-Hubert, and is exclusively onsite.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Develop and adjust production and repair plans based on forecasts, customer urgencies, and resource availability.
- Integrate uncertainties and probabilistic scenarios into planning to optimize lead times and capacity.
- Work closely with production, logistics, maintenance, and inventory management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and track performance indicators and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of planning processes by implementing advanced management tools and methods.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external customers to anticipate demand fluctuations and adapt plans accordingly.
- Contribute to the digitalization and automation of planning processes.
What do you need to be successful?
- University degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in production planning, ideally in the aerospace industry or a highly variable environment.
- Experience in Aftermarket services (repair, maintenance, MRO) is a strong asset.
- Strong proficiency with IT tools: ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), advanced Excel skills (VBA, Power Query), simulation, and optimization tools.
- Ability to analyze complex data and propose alternative scenarios to improve performance.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and priority management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This position is within a French-speaking work environment. However, it requires excellent proficiency in English to read and understand technical documentation daily from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate with clients, suppliers, and colleagues globally.
