Responsibilities
In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, successful candidates will be required to:
- Distribute materials throughout all areas of the plant
- Handle various items, boxes, parts and carts using appropriate lifting equipment
- Receive, inspect, prepare and issue material
- Use computerized transactions and software to perform work
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Maintain records
- Operate various material handling vehicles
- Perform inventories as needed
The candidate will also be expected to work in several positions within the logistics team:
- Handling parts and engines
- Receiving / shipping
- Packaging
- Warehouse / stores
Requirements
- DEP in aerospace, logistics or other related training
- 1 to 2 years of industrial work experience
- Ability to perform manual work using various tools
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Shows initiative
- Knowledge of using a computer in a Windows environment
- Ability to operate a forklift and other industrial vehicles
- This position is in a French-speaking work environment and does not require knowledge of English.
