Responsibilities

• Liaise and work closely with Transport Canada, Civil Aviation to meet all Canadian aviation regulations and standards.
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans that meet internal and industry requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations and obtain approval from the Corrective Action Review Board (CARB).
• Update local data storage platforms with tracking information to ensure the latest project information is accessible to all stakeholders.
• Be part of the A220 airworthiness team, providing key leadership to maintain the program's safety, certification and airworthiness.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (with strong industrial experience).
• Experience in aviation and in working with government authorities and certification regulations (5 to 10 years).
• Well-developed project engineering skills and a good understanding of aircraft systems.
• Organized, motivated and bilingual (French and English), with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and Google tools (Sheets, Docs and Slides), plus basic internet skills.
• Strong digital skills: able to effectively use digital tools, manage and organize data, navigate digital information to support business objectives, and leverage digital solutions to improve and optimize working methods.
