The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a candidate for the evening shift to join our Customer Line team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
You will be part of the Customer Line Operations team responsible for engine tests, flight phases, and aircraft delivery. The team's organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role will be to lead a production team, mainly composed of mechanical, avionics, and assembly technicians, for the customer sector.

Your challenges
- Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
- Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
- Manage your team's performance using key performance indicators (KPI);
- Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees;
- Ensure continuous improvement, particularly with the application of the problem-solving process;
- Coach your team (15-25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
- Identify, document, and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
- Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization.
Your profile
- Management experience in a unionized environment, ideally in the manufacturing or aerospace industry;
- Excellent management skills;
- Strong leadership, judgment, flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure, and have a sense of urgency;
- Strong communication skills;
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Proficient in Google Suite (Files, Sheets, Docs);
- Fluent in French and English.
