Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Line Maintenance YYZ, this position will provide support in the following areas below.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in the MCM, MPM, DPDs, aircraft and component maintenance manuals and Transport Canada requirements;
- Maintain an AME - E license and ACA qualifications, as required, on company aircraft;
- Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance, AVOP, Passport, and full 'G' Driver's License;
- Responsible for mentoring new Apprentices;
- Liaise with the Lead and MOC with regards to scheduled assigned overnight work packages;
- Ensure that all Porter technical documentation, such as maintenance releases associated with defects or Work Packs is accomplished as per company standards prior to submission to Technical Records;
- Assist with ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance, and generate logs for any equipment that requires repair;
- Responsible to ensure the consumable materials and tooling stored in the hangar and service vehicles are maintained in a neat and tidy manner;
- Responsible for supporting AOG maintenance system wide as required;
- Assist the Lead in ensuring the hangar work areas, including all locations in hangar, office, as well as service vehicles and equipment, are kept clean in an effort to maintain a safe work environment;
- Utilize the SMS reporting program for any hazards or incidents that may occur.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must have 3 years of avionics repair experience in the aviation industry
- Must hold Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license, Cat E.
- High degree of accuracy
- Strong analytical personality
- Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally on short notice
