Job Description
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting plans, drawings and technical documentation for various industrial equipment.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (lathe, milling machine, CNC machine, sheet metal equipment, heat treatment, etc.).
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment using specialized tools.
- Participating in the design, manufacture and optimization of equipment.
- Performing work at heights (cherry pickers, aerial work platforms) and in confined spaces.
- Using electrical, pneumatic or manual tools depending on the task.
- Using measuring instruments such as micrometer, vernier, caliper, etc.
Requirements
- DEC in Industrial Maintenance Technology or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in maintenance of production machines (an asset).
- Experience maintaining hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic machines (an asset).
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
- Very good communication skills.
- Good judgment and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability to work varied shifts across 7 days, 24 hours, according to the collective agreement (day OR evening OR night).
A competency exam (theoretical and practical) may be required during the hiring process.
