Electronics Technician

Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours) 4 days per week

Main Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair and troubleshooting of electronic/electrical systems.
• Conduct functional testing of electronic/electrical systems.
• Design, as needed, the supporting tools and equipment required to perform the work.
• Document tasks performed.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Vocational diploma (DEP), a college diploma in electronics or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in assembly, repair and troubleshooting of electronic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with the use of various electronic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, tester, etc.).
• Be autonomous and demonstrate flexibility.
• *Good knowledge of spoken and written English (asset).
• Available to travel occasionally outside the province.
• Communication skills that support change, problem-solving, mediation and the ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge).

Assets

• Knowledge of electromechanical systems.
• Good manual dexterity (soldering), be meticulous and have an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of programming.
