We are currently looking for an Avionics Technician.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the customer, either in the hangar or on the ramp;
Act as a lead on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
Perform the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
Comply with the Safety Management System (SMS) policy;
Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
Assist with any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Valid Transport Canada Class E license or eligible to obtain one;
Diploma in aircraft maintenance/avionics or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
Experience working on business aircraft considered an asset;
Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational skills; Attention to detail; positive attitude; good team spirit;
Strong communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications;
Flexibility to work assigned shifts (weekends/nights).
